Research Interests

My main research interests are:

  • Explainability of Graph Neural Networks (GNNs)

  • Neural-symbolic reasoning and explanation of Knowledge Graph Embeddings (KGEs)

  • Learning and inference over uncertain and noisy graphs

  • Theoretical analysis of neural networks, including covering numbers and capacity

  • Scalability challenges of GNNs on large-scale graph datasets

  • Hypergraph Neural Networks and higher-order relational reasoning

  • Creative neural networks and their applications in AI creativity

  • Generative models in both image and graph domains

  • Model collapse and missing mode phenomena in deep generative models

Explainable AI

Sep 2022 - Present

I work on the explainability of Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), focusing on post hoc explainability methods and reasoning systems for Knowledge Graph Embeddings (KGEs). My research aims to bridge explainability techniques developed for GNNs with the embedding and inference mechanisms used in knowledge graphs.

I explore these methods across various downstream tasks, including graph classification, node classification, link prediction, entity resolution, and question answering.
